Welcome to The 1st Student Chapter of SPE at Ausc

The 1st student chapter of Society of Petroleum Engineers at Al-Azhar University (SPEAUSC) that was founded in June, 2005 by students at the Petroleum Engineering Department.

We are a non-profit organization that aims to enhance the students' skills, share knowledge among them, provide students with all information related to their career, and help them to meet their goals.

The Outstanding Award 2022

this award is the highest honor. It recognized the top 5% of SPE’s student chapters around the world and achieved the first place in Egypt and the Middle East.

Honoring Export Council for Chemical Industries and Fertilizers in 2022

Honoring SPE Al-Azhar by Eng. Khaled Abu Al-Makarem, Chairman of the Export Council for Chemical Industries and Fertilizers, Agent of the Federation of Industries and Chairman of Makarem Tex Group of Companies, for the team winning the OUTSTANDING AWARD.

YLF Environmental and Social Solidarity League 2022

We participated in the YLF competition that included all student activities in Egypt and competed with about 2500 teams.
We were eliminated in four stages.
We submitted a project that reduced Carbon Dioxide emissions and achieved sustainable development goals.
We got the 2nd place and we were honored by the Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, the Minister of Immigration, and the Minister of Solidarity.

Honoring the administration of Al-Azhar University in 2022

Honoring SPE Al-Azhar from His Eminence Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hussein Al-Mahrasawi and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Al-Sherbiny, as for our team to win the 2nd place at the level of the Arab Republic of Egypt in the environmental and social solidarity league competition.

SPE Al-Azhar Honored by the President of SPE International in 2022

President of SPE international 2022_2023 and engineer Ashraf Abdul-Jawad has Dr. Medhat Kamal Chairman of SPE Egypt honored SPE Al-Azhar Team due to their efforts and we got the outstanding award.
